"Frog" Mullis, Owner
My first taste at taxidermy was in the 7th grade at Dodge Elementary in Eastman, GA.  Mrs. Moore, my Georgia History teacher, had assigned us the task of doing a project that would include one of the State symbols.

Well, I decided mine would be on Georgia's State bird, the Brown Thrasher.  I went out and "obtained" a Brown Thrasher, plucked out it's feathers and placed them on a Styrofoam ball that I had shaped to resemble the body of the bird.  Even back then I felt like other elements of nature would enhance my display.  So I made Georgia's State flower, the Cherokee Rose, out of white and yellow tissue to use in my mount.

I received an A for the project and it sparked an interest in me that would eventually lead to my life's career.
